- South Norfolk Leisure publishes an Active Seniors rate for the over 65s at £30.40 a month against a £36 standard, plus a general concession at £28.20. That covers Wymondham, Diss, Long Stratton, Framingham Earl and Kett's Park.
- Alive West Norfolk publishes a concession fitness class at £5.20 against £10.40 full price, and £7.80 with a discount card.
- Everyone Active at The Reef, Sheringham, has an entry tier at £21.99 a month, which is the cheapest published leisure centre rate in North Norfolk.
- Freedom Leisure, Parkwood and Alive monthly rates are not published, so ask for the concession rate by name rather than the headline price.

Three things matter more than the equipment list: a quiet hour, a pool with a lane you can actually use, and a class that does not assume you can get off the floor unaided.

- Pools with a timetable: The Reef at Sheringham, Victory at North Walsham, Diss Swim Centre after its £4.2m refurbishment, Dereham Leisure Centre and St James at King's Lynn.
- Walking a parkrun: all 23 Norfolk events welcome walkers and have a tail walker, and they cost nothing. Sheringham, Holkham, Blickling, Hunstanton Promenade and Gorleston Cliffs are the coastal ones.
