Georgian, affluent, and studio led
Holt has 4,725 residents, sits 23 miles north of Norwich and 35 east of King's Lynn, and is dominated by Gresham's School and a gallery and delicatessen retail economy. It is the smallest town with its own page here, and its gym market looks nothing like the A11 corridor towns.
Six of the eleven venues are pilates or yoga: I am the storm yoga, Free Range Pilates, Liz Davis Pilates, Milla Beeson Pilates, Sally King Pilates and Yoga North Norfolk. No council centre, so where do you go
Everyone Active runs all six North Norfolk District Council facilities and none of them is in Holt. The nearest are The Reef at Sheringham, which has the district's 25 metre six lane pool and a 70 station gym, Cromer Sports Centre and Fakenham Sports and Fitness Centre.
There is no 24 hour gym in Holt either. The district's only two are at Fakenham and North Walsham. If shifts or a barbell matter to you, factor the drive in before you choose where to live, never mind where to train.
